Insights Services

Having invested in your Mystery Shopping programme with SISA it’s important you now take things to the next level and look at how to use the valuable insights gained to improve your business.

So, what are insights?

Put simply, your SISA report will give you two dimensions. First, you will get data: this is the collected shopper feedback and results/scorings based on the agreed parameters and/or metrics to be measured. Data is raw fact and can be quantitative or qualitative. Second, analysis is given in providing clarity and context surrounding that data: turning it into information such as 70% of Sales Agents did not open or close their calls as per company standard and of that 70%, 80% came from one Sales Team or business division. Essentially, information is data that has been processed, aggregated and organized into a format that is simpler to understand and is often therefore delivered in tables, charts and dashboards.

Whilst two dimensions are undoubtedly useful, why not consider the third which will give your Mystery Shopping programme completeness? This comes in the form of a business insights exercise. Insights are what you gain after considering what the data and the analysis of that data means for your company and drawing conclusions: ie. how your business and operational performance and effectiveness are impacted. For our scenario above, insight could be that 80% of the 70% coming from one Sales Team or division had an impact on 60% of your overall business and this equated to AED 6 million. Further, this revenue of AED 5 million meant that you needed to sell an equivalent additional 1 million units of a product line to make up the shortfall.

Discovering insights can influence decisions and drive business change initiatives. At SISA, we can help you interpret and understand your Mystery Shopping results in 3D. Because life is like that.
